Running with Faith: Celebrating Our London Marathon Heroes

At St Kyrel Trust, we often speak about transforming lives through education, compassion, and Christian love. This mission has been carried beautifully by the young people who ran the London marathon in support of the Trust over both this year and last year.
Their achievement is about far more than completing 26.2 miles. It is a witness of faith in action, young people choosing to give their time, energy, and strength so that disadvantaged students and widows in Egypt and Sudan can have hope for a brighter future. The Trust continues its mission of helping unprivileged students break the cycle of poverty through education and empowering widows with dignity and support.

Months of training, perseverance, and sacrifice went into every step of their marathon journey. Through tired legs, early mornings, and difficult moments, they continued with determination and joy, knowing they were running for something greater than themselves.
As Christians, we are reminded in Hebrews 12:1:
“Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
These young runners have truly lived out those words. Their compassion reflects the heart of the Trust’s mission, “Helping the poor help themselves”.
We are deeply grateful to every runner who chose to support the Trust through the London Marathon. Your dedication, courage, and servant hearts have inspired our whole community. Every mile you completed has helped bring hope, dignity, and opportunity to those who need it most.

May God continue to bless each one of you abundantly for the love and sacrifice you have shown.
