We transform the lives of unprivileged students and widows.
We empower disadvantaged students and widows in Egypt and Sudan so that they may survive hardships, break out of the poverty cycle and transform their lives.
Equipping students…
We enable disadvantaged Coptic students in Egypt to help eradicate poverty chains and construct hopeful future prospects.
We offer vital monetary assistance for education essentials such as meals, travel, and reading materials.
We equip students to become independent, successful adults who positively impact their families and communities.
Empowering widows…
We empower widows to avoid exploitation by providing financial support that meets their daily needs, offering hope for a stable future.
We partner with local churches to ensure widows and their children receive ongoing spiritual and emotional nourishment from trusted priests.
We help widows build independence through job opportunities or small business ventures, transforming their lives and enabling them to support their families with confidence.

Transforming lives
since 1993
It was in Christmas of 1993 during a visit visit to Egypt that the founders were deeply touched by the extreme hardship that poor students had to face. Teenagers would go for days without a single healthy meal nor be able to bathe and change clothes.
Since students rely entirely on their parents, who may have four other children or more to look after, even the bright and hardworking student will be forced to leave their studies, to earn a living.
The founders collected donations from friends and relatives and sponsored their first students. Two years later two other close friends joined, and they officially set up the St Kyrel Trust, named after the patron saint and patriarch of the Coptic Orthodox Church, St Kyrillos VI.
